Global Industrial Operations & Supply Chain Management

The Global Industrial Operations division at Grünenthal oversees the production, technology and quality organization in the international network of the production sites in Germany, Mexico, Italy, Switzerland, Spain and Ecuador.

Following production, the Global Supply Chain Management division then ensures that our products are delivered on time and as needed, and thus to the customer’s satisfaction. The goal is to provide the products in accordance with the customer’s wishes: at the right time, the right place and in the quantity required.

This only works when the countries’ requirements are recorded and consolidated, when the wide variety of information on inventories, production capacities, delivery times, etc. is processed and the resulting knowledge is used to manage the logistics of our network. We then cover the other end of a long process chain as well by handling export orders and shipments.

We don’t just manage and synchronize the flow of material, but also the flow of information along the entire global supply chain, with the objective of arranging it securely and economically.
